This VETAB accredited course – TLI D207C Shift a load using manually-operated equipment – is partial completion of Certificate I in the Transport and Logistics TLI07 Training Package.
This is a half day training session, carried out on your site with a maximum of 10 people per group.
Topics covered include those listed below along with operator responsibilities, safe use and introduction to equipment, pre start and after start checks and shut down as per manufacturer’s recommendations check list.
Training is well supervised by an experienced Forktalk instructor at all times.
Forktalk will provide both theory and practical training; a booklet to each participant; and a training video will be shown during the session. After successful completion of the course, each participant will be issued with a Statement of Attainment from Forktalk.

You do not require a license to operate Pedestrian Operated Forklifts, however, in accordance with the OHS Act 2000 and OHS Regulations 2001 under Duty of Care, an employer must provide an employee with instruction, training and supervision in the safe operation of any equipment used in the workplace.
