    Effective 1 September 2009 WorkCover NSW has implemented a new system for licensing people performing High Risk Work [HRW]. In line with these changes and as a Registered Training Organisation [RTO], Forktalk has been approved by  WorkCover NSW to conduct training and licensing for the new HRW licences.

    BRIDGE  CRANE (PENDANT TYPE) TRAINING


    This is a one day training course in the operation of a pendant (or pendulum) control type bridge crane to be carried out on site and supervised by an experienced Forktalk instructor at all times.

    This is a  half day (approximately 4 hours) training session to be carried out on your site with a maximum 6 people per group. Operators attending ‘refresher’ training must produce their current forklift license and proof of identification on the training day. Training may not be conducted without such evidence.

    This accredited unit of competency TLILIC2002A Licence to Operate an Order Picking Forklift Truck is based on the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work. This unit specifies the outcomes required to operate a powered industrial truck of a type where the operator’s control arrangement is incorporated with the load carriage/lifting media, and elevates with it, for licensing purposes.

     ELEVATING WORK PLATFORM COURSE
    This  accredited unit of competency TLILIC2005A Licence to Operate a Boom Type Elevating Work Platform (Boom Length 11 Metres or More) is based on the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work. This unit specifies the outcomes required to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more) for licensing purposes and involves the operation of a telescoping device, hinged device, or articulated device or any combination of these used to support a platform on which personnel, equipment and materials may be elevated to perform work.
