About Us

Forktalk was established in 1997 and is based in Campbelltown, NSW. The Company’s foundation was forklift training and assessing.

Forktalk provides training and licensing services on industrial equipment including:

  • Forklift Training and Licensing (both LF and LO)
  • Elevating Work Platform Training and Licensing (WP)
  • Pedestrian Operated Forklift Training
  • Overhead Bridge Crane Training (pendant type)

As the Company grew, it developed additional Work Health and Safety training services and added a second trading name, Safetalk. Safetalk is affiliated with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).  We deliver training, conduct assessments and issue nationally recognised qualifications from the Transport and Logistics Training Package:

  • Health and Safety (HSR) (SafeWork NSW)
  • WHS Risk Management Training
  • WHS Committee Training
  • White Card Training (for the construction industry)
  • Safety Audits

Ric Gisborne


  • Cert IV TAE40110 in Training and Assessment
  • TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training

  • BSB51307 Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety
    and Justice of the Peace

Ric is also a SafeWork NSW accredited Assessor for forklift licences and to deliver construction induction training.

Ric has over 40 years’ experience in warehousing, training and assessing.

Ric commenced his army career in 1969. After 26 years’ service in the army Ric and Roz founded Forktalk. Ric is very proud that the company has now been operating successfully for over 20 years. Ric loves to give back to the community.

In his free time he enjoys tinkering in his shed, spending time at their coastal property, he loves spending time with his wife, he has a passion for collecting shaving memorabilia and you will often find him trawling through the local and not so local antique shops.

Rozlynn Gisborne

Co-founder of Forktalk, Roz commenced her career in the Royal Australian Navy as a radio operator.  However, marriage caused a change of direction and after finishing a term with the Navy, she resigned and moved around the country with her husband, Ric, who was in the Army.  She worked in many different industries as an office worker, moving through the ranks in various companies till she became Administration Manager for a subsidiary of the John Sands Group of Companies in Melbourne.

Roz has a wealth of knowledge and is happy to impart this knowledge to students and interested parties.

Roz loves to go to the theatre, read, listening to music and you will very often hear her singing along to the radio in her office.   She enjoys photography and art.
